A rodeo star returns to his home town, and offers his help to the acting sheriff in solving a murder. Their investigation leads them to a singer who is looking for a family heirloom the victim stole from her father, but all three face danger from the killers, who are also after the treasure. Rodeo star Roy Rogers returns home to find that his old friend Tom Craig has been murdered after he was accused of stealing a family crest from Helen Williams. Helen joins up with Roy and Gabby Whittaker to find the killers and the crest.
