"In a world ruled and populated only by women, a young female scientist creates a male human being, genetically enhanced to refrain from violence."
- Director: Les Landau
- Genre: Mystery & Suspense, Science Fiction & Fantasy,
- Studio: Paramount Television
- Subtitled | Duration: 120 Mins
|
Overview:
Years after a weapon called the Y-Bomb has wiped out the world's male population, scientist Julie Bowen genetically engineers a (supposedly) violence-free man - but he's not exactly welcome in a land run by man-hating women. This made-for-TV effort has occasional fun with its outlandish premise, but by-and-large it's still far too glum for its own good. Most disappointingly, the movie fails to illustrate how an all-female population might change society, an idea that could have been interesting in the hands of more gifted film-makers.
