When a mad scientist is killed testing his latest invention, his hunchbacked assistant sees an opportunity to prove his worth as an evil genius by creating a monster. His supposedly horrible creation does not turn out as monstrous as expected, while his late master's arch rival has a diabolical scheme in mind.
